Hi, friends! It’s my very first Librarian Box unboxing and I’m super excited to show you June’s box!
Disclaimer: As a rep for The Librarian Box, I receive a box free in exchange for an honest review. I do not receive any compensation for the links I provide in this post.
So this month’s theme was The Evil Queen, which is a Snow White retelling by Gena Showalter. I actually read this book for review, and you can find my review here.
So first of all, we were lucky enough to get a copy of The Evil Queen SIGNED! I don’t know about you, but I love when I have a signed copy of a book. There’s also a note from Gena herself tucked into the book, which I thought was so cool.
We also got a super yummy cookie that was dark chocolate. I will be totally honest, after the photo above, my kids begged and begged for the cookies and I literally got a teensy piece to eat it. But what I did eat was delicious!
We also received a really cute print with a modern take on The Evil Queen herself, Everly. I actually have a cork board in my craft room/office where my books reside, so this print will live there because I absolutely love it!
In the box was a super sweet (or maybe poison since it is a Snow White retelling) apple necklace. So far I’ve been using it as a bookmark, which is working out well for me. It’s really cute and very sparkly.
Next up is a compact hand mirror inspired by Everly herself. Everly always has her mirror with her and she uses it quite often in the novel. It’s such a gorgeous compact mirror and my kids have been eyeballing it hard, but so far I haven’t given in and let them have it. I actually really like it and am thinking I may use it for vacation trips or something.
Yay! I got my very first book sleeve! It’s a good size book sleeve and features The Evil Queen! It does fit my copy of the book, but it’s a tight fit (it’s a really big book!)
Not pictured, but also included in the box was a recipe card to make Everly’s Apple Butter. I love apple butter so I will definitely be making this in the Fall when our local apples are in season!
