Did you set goals for this upcoming year? Using a habit tracker is a fabulous way to track those goals!
The best thing about habit trackers is that they are so versatile! There’s really no one right way to use one, and you can adapt it to fit your needs!
There’s two different ways I’ve used habit trackers. One being weekly and the other being monthly (if you scroll down you can see examples of both).
One one hand, weekly habit tracking is nice because it’s short term. I found that I was more apt to use my weekly tracker than I did my monthly. But on the other hand, using a monthly tracker gives you a longer period of tracking time.
Most people (myself included) use a habit tracker in their planner. But what if you don’t use a planner? Well, fear not! There are other options!
Habit Tracker Options
- Wall Calendar. Yep, a wall calendar! All you need is a pen (you can even use different colored inks to track multiple goals) and mark each day you met your goal!
- Printable Calendar. If you don’t have a 12 month wall calendar, you can always print a calendar and track that way!
- Online Calendar. If you don’t want to print a piece of paper, or you want to be environmentally friendly, an online calendar is always a great option!
- Habit Tracker App. Did you know there are tons of apps that will help you track your habits? Yes! Next time you’re looking for a new phone app, search “habit tracker” there’s a lot!
Remember that each day is a new day. And the more days you get to mark off meeting your goal, the closer you are to making it a habit!
Happy goal crushing! <3
